IPL 2023, 3 records were broken during the game between Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals
Last night in IPL 2023, the Gujarat Titans defeated the Delhi Capitals by a margin of six wickets. With to Sai Sudharsan’s fifty and Rashid Khan’s and Mohammed Shami’s three-wicket hauls, the defending champions kept their perfect record in the new season.
At the Arun Jaitley Stadium earlier in the evening, Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya chose to field first after winning the toss. The Delhi Capitals were unable to fully capitalise on their home advantage since the wicket was a little difficult for batting. No DC batter was able to reach the 50-run threshold.
Sarfaraz Khan, David Warner, and Axar Patel all scored thirty runs to help the Delhi Capitals reach 162/8 in their allotted 20 overs. The Gujarat Titans quickly lost the wickets of Wriddhiman Saha, Shubman Gill, and Hardik Pandya while attempting to win by kicking 163.
Initially, it appeared as though DC would secure their first victory of the campaign at home, but Sai Sudharsan, Vijay Shankar, and David Miller forced GT back into the contest.
With Shankar, Sudharsan shared a fourth-wicket partnership of 53 runs, then Miller put the finishing touches on the innings with an unbeaten 16-ball 31*. The GT players had a successful day at work.
