IPL 2023, Star Sports has announced its TV commentary team

For the IPL 2023, commentators like Sunil Gavaskar, Virender Sehwag, Kevin Pietersen, and others will be present. The opening match of the league will feature Chennai Super Kings versus Gujarat Titans.

The present Women’s Premier League (WPL) is coming to a close, with only two matches remaining, namely the Eliminator and Final. After the inaugural WPL is over, all eyes will be on the highly anticipated 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is set to start on March 31.

In the first game of the enthralling competition, four-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face previous year’s victors Gujarat Titans (GT). The official TV broadcasters, Star Sports, have unveiled the commentary team for IPL 2023 in several languages ahead of the exciting opening match.

The upcoming season of the lucrative league will have commentary in nine different languages from renowned individuals. The main personalities who will be available for the commentary, but Ravi Shastri and Harsha Bhogle won’t, are Sunil Gavaskar, Imran Tahir, Kevin Pietersen, Matthew Hayden, Irfan Pathan, and Virender Sehwag.

Gavaskar, Jacques Kallis, Hayden, Pietersen, Danny Morrison, Tom Moody, and Paul Collingwood, the country’s first T20 World Cup champion, are among the English commentators. Sehwag, Irfan, Harbhajan Singh, Tahir, Mithali Raj, and Yusuf Pathan are among the members of the Hindi commentary team.

Similar to how they will be seen delighting fans with their commentary in the other languages, well-known names like K Srikkanth, Murali Vijay, Sandeep Patil, MSK Prasad, Amol Muzumdar, S Sreesanth, and Gundappa Vishwanath will be there.
