MI WPL Jersey: The Mumbai Indians have unveiled their inaugural Women’s Premier League shirt. On Saturday, the Mukesh Ambani-owned franchise unveiled its WPL 2023 uniform (February 25). On March 4, the Mumbai Indians will open off their maiden WPL season against the Gujarat Giants. On Saturday, the MI squad also gathered for their first-ever practise session. MI shared a closer look at their stripes in a more detailed shot. Mumbai’s signature blue and gold was also apparent on the Women’s shirt.

The Mumbai-based team kept the basic colour of the shirt blue, but added a tint of orange to the sides to differentiate it from the men’s team.

The distinctive MI Blue & Gold colour palette, designed by Monisha Jaisingh, adds a splash of coral as a homage to Mumbai’s magnificent coastline, stunning sunsets, and the sun’s energising energy.
