Cameron Green
The interesting Australian all-rounder was purchased by Mumbai Indians for Rs 17.50 crore, making him the second most expensive purchase made during the IPL 2022 auction. Prior to the auction, West Indies’ standout Kieron Pollard announced his retirement; as a result, Green will fill his position. Green’s addition will benefit Jofra Archer and Jasprit Bumrah and improve MI’s lineup for the upcoming season.
Jasprit Bumrah
Bumrah is the cornerstone of Mumbai’s bowling lineup after Lasith Malinga. One of Mumbai’s top wicket-takers, Bumrah, has been crucial to the team’s first and last overs. Mumbai would be praying that he heals up quickly so that he can join forces with Jofra Archer to form a lethal bowling attack.
Rohit Sharma
One of the most destructive format openers comes from Mumbai. He has five times guided the team to victory in the IPL thus far in his career. The MI player with the most runs scored overall has witnessed a drop in play. Nonetheless, he is capable of making crucial moves and leading Mumbai to victory on his own. Huge assists Mumbai in winning games when others anchor around him.
