History
The franchisee took first place in the tournament’s first season. Since 2008, RR has failed to win the IPL championship twice. Team India has received stars from the franchise over the years, including Ravindra Jadeja, Sanju Samson, and Yusuf Pathan. Before deciding to blow their cash, Rajasthan Royals initially relied on cheap players. The franchise has drawn in huge names over the years. Ben Stokes, Jaydev Unadkat, and Chris Morris all cost them Rs 12.5 crores ($1.7 million), Rs 11.5 crore ($1.6 million), and Rs 16.25 crore ($2.2 million), but by the time the IPL 2022 season started, all of these players had already been released. They narrowly missed winning the championship the season before after losing to Gujarat Titans in the final. This time, they want to go all the way and take home the trophy.

Rajasthan Royals key players
Sanju Samson
When the wicketkeeper batsman was just 18 years old in 2013, the franchisee bought him. Samson, although not being chosen for the national team, has routinely played well for the Royals. He has been a cornerstone of the Royals’ offence, and in his new role as club captain, he will keep doing what he does best: scoring runs.
Jos Buttler
In the IPL, England’s white ball captain has enjoyed scoring runs. He scored 863 runs at a strike rate of 149.05. He was at the top of his game last season, averaging 57.53. He shared the most centuries ever by a player in a T20 series or tournament with four during the season. The team recently won the T20 World Cup under his leadership.
