At the most recent WPL auction, MI paid Rs 1.8 crore to get the great batter Harmanpreet Kaur. She will probably run for the position of captain as well. Before the training session, MI published a welcoming video for Harmanpreet as she checks into the team hotel.

Beginning on March 4 with a match between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians, the Women’s Premier League will have its first season. MI has already begun their training camp, which is being supervised by mentor and bowling coach Jhulan Goswami, in preparation for their first game.

“No one is a legend when we reach the ground. It involves concentrating on our work. We also tried to connect with the girls by observing how hard they worked today, how cohesive they were on the field, and how they communicated. The second day’s energy level was very high, but there was still a lot of fun going on, so it was a fantastic experience, remarked Goswami.

Thankfully, the 33-year-old smiled as he posed for the cameras. Despite Kaur’s amazing fifty, India was unable to cross the finish line due to an unlucky run-out.
